The New York Design Center is getting ready to celebrate “What’s New and What’s Next” in ideas, design, materials and products with an incredible line-up of the industry’s best. The event features editor-driven panel discussions by 1stdibs, Apartment Therapy, Architectural Digest, Dering Hall, domino, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, interiors, Interior Design, Lonny, luxe Interiors _+ Design, Metropolis, My Domaine, New York Design Hunting, New York Spaces, NYC&G, Town & Country, Traditional Home, Veranda, Wallpaper* and The Wall Street Journal, and engaging designer presentations. One look at the schedule and we know where we will be from 2:00-9:00PM on Thursday. With a building full of tastemakers, we are in for a real treat!!!

First staged in 2003, the London Design Festival now features over 400 events and exhibitions staged by hundreds of partner organizations across the design spectrum and from around the world. The annual event is meant to celebrate and showcase the city’s pivotal role in global design. Design Destinations include: Decorex International (9/20-23 at Syon Park), Focus/15 (9/20-25 at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour), 100% Design (9/23-26 at Olympia London), designjunction (9/24-27 at Central Saint Martins and Victoria House), and Tent London and Super Brands London (9/24-27 at Old Truman Brewery). The Global Design Forum (9/20-25 at Victoria and Albert Museum), the thought leadership component of the Festival will focus on profiling the industry's pivotal figures who will each discuss their work against the background of a particular topic. Each day will have a different theme: Graphics (Morag Myerscough), Luxury (Barber & Osgerby), Future (Yves Behar), Makers (Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec), International (Wolfgang Buttress) and Industry (Tom Dixon). If you are a newbie or a planner, we suggest studying the London Tube map ahead of time so you can spend as much time at each location as possible. You’re gonna need it!!!

This year, we’re joining the 75,000+ international visitors who make their way to the Bologna Fiere to attend Cersaie - the world’s largest exposition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings. Organized by Edi.Cer SpA and promoted by Confindustria Ceramica, the show features nearly 1,000 exhibitors from over 30 countries showcasing design-driven products (tiles, fixtures, tubs, sinks, etc) and the most state-of-the-art architectural solutions. Furthermore, Cersaie offers an amazing conference program called Building, Dwelling, Thinking where leading figures in architecture and design deliver insightful talks. The 2015 keynote address will be presented by acclaimed architect and 2002 Pritzker Prize winner Glenn Murcutt.
